“ Boulebar South Bank is a brilliant spot for an evening out — great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a fun twist on drinks-and-dinner with pétanque. The setting by the river gives it that “London does leisure properly” feel, especially around sunset when the lights come on and the place really comes to life. Food and drinks are well priced for the area, and it’s the kind of place where you can stay longer than planned without noticing. My only tip: it gets busy, so booking (or arriving early) helps if you want a good table — and if you’re playing, give yourself time to actually enjoy it rather than rushing. ”

We felt so welcome and well looked after, and staff were fantastic! “ Attended venue for a work event. Yemi was so courteous, helpful and made excellent recommendations with the timings for food service. Leroy, the petanque guide, made the event! His playful demeanour and attentiveness ensured everyone (30 colleagues) all had fun playing this classic french game. I would highly recommend a visit! 5 stars! ”

“ WOW Team Boule Bar! Epic event for our work where we hosting a group of 12 people, plus us 5. Affordable for a big group, especially in this cost climate. Yemmi was our host with the most and Morgan our bar man was a legend. The legends running this place have team events sorted! Don't hesitate, book now. ”

“ We did the bottomless brunch here at Jack&Boules and absolutely loved it. The venue was great and near a perfect spot by the Thames and because of the heaters and blankets also really nice to be at early spring. The food was great and the drinks kept on coming :) Ollie was so friendly and we really loved having a chat with him. We think the brunch is fun itself but with the Jeu the Boules you can add you really have an amazing afternoon with something special to do. It was fun to add to our date day here in London and we would love to come back one day. Really recommend it! ”

“ Visited for a Christmas party in early December. I'd never played boules but this didn't matter as there was a very friendly expert on hand to help us novices get started. The food was great, very good selection and plenty of it, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I'd go back without hesitation. ”
